Tony Ardizonne is the author of five novels and three collections of short stories. His award-winning fiction has been featured in literary journals and anthologies. His work has been reviewed in the United States, Canada, Italy and Greece. He’s reading from his newest novel, in Bruno’s Shadow.
Dr. Mindy Nettifee. Mindy is a poet, artist educator, and somatic trauma therapist. Her doctoral research is on the sensory capacities of the voice and the role of voice and language in trauma healing. She has been teaching creative writing and performance for more than 15 years, and currently teaches storytelling workshops for Literary Arts, produces and hosts for Back Fence PDX and The Moth, and serves as director at The Center for Artist Resilience. She has published three full-length poetry collections and the how-to book on writing Glitter in the Blood. Her latest collection is Open Your Mouth Like a Bell (Write Bloody).
Marc Zegans is a poet, spoken word artist, and creative development advisor. He is the author of five collections of poems, The Book of Clouds, Boys in the Woods, The Underwater Typewriter, Pillow Talk, and Lyon Street, and two spoken word albums, Marker and Parker, and Night Work. Mark will be reading at Annie Bloom’s books on the 16th, along with Larry Beckett, who was on the show last month.
