Leanne Grabel is a poet and illustrator in love with performing her work in collaboration with other performers. She is the author of a variety of books, some print, some illustrated, poetry and memoir. She teaching writing and illustrating books of poetry and memoir. Leanne and her husband Steve Sander ran the legendary literary café, Café Lena.
David Abel is a writer and editor, and the proprietor of Passages Bookshop in Portland, Oregon. A founding member of the Spare Room reading series, now in its twenty-third year, his recent publications include a chapbook of poems, Equifinality (Crane’s Bill); two books based on verbal performance scores — XIV Eclipses (Couch Press), and Selected Durations (Black Rock Press) — and the visual narrative Carrier (Redfoxpress). The first volume of an ongoing hybrid-genre serial work, Sweep, is forthcoming from Chax Press.
