the struggle: media and justice

Last time, we promised to discuss how media organizations, advertising companies and other businesses continue to profit from the cultural appropriation, as well as the struggles of people of African descent, which includes companies that have historically enacted racist practices.  We still feel this is important to discuss, so we will do it this week! 

How does all of this play into the more recent events (with Missouri, etc.)?  We will discuss this as well.
