Tonight's edition of Talking Earth will feature Portland poet Leah Noble Davidson. Her work addresses how we understand our world through the frame of language: first with Poetic Scientifica (University of Hell Press, 2013), a one-poem book with a 120 page glossary, and second, with DOOR (University of Hell Press, 2016), an attempt to split a word into 4 angles. In her other life, she’s a design strategist and is working on her Masters at Johns Hopkins. Leah, her curious ten year old, and their bouncy Bernese Mountain Dog named Pepper live in Portland, Oregon.
She’s been published in various magazines, journals, and small press zines including Alberta Street Anthologies, Blur, Night Bomb Press, Small Doggies, Harper Perennial, and Love and Car Crashes.
