The Songcircle was inspired by the tradition of singer-songwriters sitting around in, yes, a circle, taking turns trading songs and stories. Every once in a while, we have the chance to replicate that tradition in radio form, and we're doing it again this week, with two of Portland music's longtime leading lights, and visiting artists from Atlanta. Little Sue is a 2019 inductee into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame, Jeremy Wilson is the former leader of seminal Portland band The Dharma Bums and a successful solo artist, and the duo Heart Hunters features former Portlanders Brianna Blackbird and Drew De Man, who relocated to Atlanta a few years ago. Before these great artists' joint show tonight at the Laurelthirst, we're looking forward to putting them all in a room together and seeing the sparks fly! We'll also debut new music from Leonard Cohen's new, posthumous release, and more.
