Join us for Cascadia Coffeehouse this Friday morning as we celebrate the music of Norman Blake, the legendary flat-picking guitarist from Rising Fawn, Georgia who turns 85 on March 10th. We'll enjoy some of Norman's classics, as well as collaborations with his friend, and fellow guitar master, Tony Rice. We'll also hear new music from Canadian singer-songwriter Lynn Miles, the duo My Politic, Caitlin Canty, the Scottish duo Hannah Read & Michael Starkey, and favorites from Cristina Vane, Emmylou Harris, David Francey, Atwater~Donnelly, Lauren Sheehan, John Reischman & the Jaybirds (in concert here in Portland on Sat. March 18th) and many more.
