Empath Directorate Records Episode 2.

Empath Directorate is a record label and musical collaboration formed by Steve Hanford and Sam Redding in 2012 while both were incarcerated at Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution in Pendleton, Oregon. Between 2012 and 2016, while navigating a hell’s broth of prison violence and politics, institutional strictures, bureaucratic inertia and limited equipment, Steve and Sam produced, recorded and mixed 14 albums of original music spanning various genres and featuring the songs and talents of a rotating cast of inmate musicians and fine artists.
