At-home injury risk increases with pandemic requirements to stay home

As people stay home more in the pandemic, the danger to families is not just the threat of COVID.  Kids are more at risk of injuries and even deaths because of a common type of accident in the home.  

KBOO's Annette Newell recently talked to a mother, Alyssa Carlson, who had an incident like this with her child, and also talked about some solutions with Joe Martyak with the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
