The Braided River Campaign’s Kick Off Call to Action for a Green Working Waterfront

On April 20, a new coalition of environmental justice groups called the Braided River Campaign launched their first call to action, demanding that the city of Portland declare the Portland Harbor - currently a Super Fund site - a Green Working Waterfront, and to get busy making this transformation a reality.

Meeting by the Port of Portland’s unused Terminal 2, they held a press conference, which KBOO recorded and is presenting as part of our Earth Day Special Programming.
