Three bills that were unsuccessful in the 2021 session have been re-introduced this year by OJRC. Zach explains each bill and its impact on Adults in Custody in Oregon:
SB 1584 Oregon Justice for Exonerees Act would compensate those wrongfully convicted of a crime.
SB 1568 Compassionate Release of eligible Adults in Custody under extraordinary circumstances.
SB 4147 Restoring the Right to Vote for adults while incarcerated.
