This week, we will examine what happened when Florida's governor Ron DeSantis sent two charter planes of mostly Venezuelan migrants from Texas to Marthas Vineyard in Massachusetts as what seems to be part of a political stunt. My guest, Mirian Albert, of Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Boston spent time with the migrants and will explain why her organization is calling for criminal charges against DeSantis. Then, we will go to Puerto Rico to speak with Julio Lopez Varona of the Center for Popular Democracy Action about how Hurricane Fiona has devastated the territory five years after Hurricane Maria. Finally, Palestinian youth activist Sami Houraini will join me from the West Bank to expose how Israeli forces are demolishing Palestinian villages in Masafar Yatta to make way for a firing zone and how his father remains imprisoned by Israel.
