Code Pink co-founder discusses her new book

Though it's easy for most of us in the United States to not pay close attention to what's happening in Ukraine, the consequences of the war raging there are massive and far-reaching. If you really want to know what led up to the war and what the possiblities are for ending it (and you should!), the new book by Medea Benjamin and Nicolas Davies, "War in Ukraine: Making Sense of a Senseless Conflict," is a big help.

Benjamin, today's guest by phone, is well-known as long-time activist and critic of U.S.-led wars and imperialist foreign policy. Co-founder of Code Pink almost exactly 20 years ago, Benjamin and her cohorts have disrupted official proceedings, put themselves in harms way, and generally been a thorn in the side of the war-makers.
