As of this morning, Wisconsin Governor, Scott Walker made clear he won't back off his proposal to effectively eliminate collective bargaining rights for most public employees. Senate Democrats who fled the state last week to delay the plan vowed not to come back to allow it to pass — even if they have to miss votes on other bills tomorrow. Union leaders say they will not back down either. Democratic Representative took a Johnson and left the state to stop the vote. It would take just three pro-union Republicans to sway the outcome in favor of Labor. And meanwhile, there is a suggestion being floated by a talk, pallid stranger, wearing black, casting no shadow, that maybe the state could just have two little years without bargaining rights and then get back to work as usual…Do Not shake hands with that man....General strike anyone?
More on biomass tomorrow. Call Ron Wyden. write him a letter. wyden.senate.gov/contact/climatevoices.wordpress.com/.../anti-biomass-incineration-–-forest-protection-campaign/
