On this episode of the Gap, Tammy and Althea interview the volunteer campaign coordinators from Eviction Representation for All (ERA)-- Multnomah County Measure 26-238, Colleen Carroll and John Bethencourt. We'll talk about the campaign so far, what eviction court is really like for renters, and do some mythbusting about who would be impacted by the less than 1% capital gains tax increase. The ERA campaign is taking on big moneyed interests, so we'll take a closer look at their experience and what a majority of the media coverage seems to miss.
