Welcome to K-Boo’s folk music program for Wednesday June 14th, Pastures of Plenty. Please join me. The show starts at 5:30 am with a protest written and performed by Dave Cohen "I Like to Sleep Late in the Morning". Near the end of the show there’s another protest, against our addiction to cell phones and other electronic devices - "Pushing On Buttons (Staring at Screens)" from Tim O’Brien. In the middle of the program, there’s a collective philosophy for dealing with life in 2023 - based on the song titles anyway - sing about hard times, can’t change it all, everything is possible, pay it no mind, and feel pretty inside.
Thanks for listening to KBOO and the morning folk music programs from 5:30 till 7:00 Monday through Friday mornings, and Movin' On, Fridays after the noon news.
