This week on Century of Lies: Drug Arrests, Overdose, and Treatment. We’re joined in conversation by Caroline A. King, MD, PhD, a first year resident in the Yale-New Haven Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program and co-author of a research letter entitled “Treatments Used Among Adolescent Residential Addiction Treatment Facilities in the US, 2022” that was published June 13, 2023 in JAMA. Plus, we speak with Bradley Ray, PhD, a Senior Justice and Behavioral Health Researcher at RTI International and one of the co-authors of an article entitled “Spatiotemporal Analysis Exploring the Effect of Law Enforcement Drug Market Disruptions on Overdose, Indianapolis, Indiana, 2020–2021” which was published in the July 2023 edition of the American Journal of Public Health.
