In the long-awaited, first episode of 2023, we talk to two member of the Bend Equity Project about an ongoing Juniper Ridge encampment situation in Bend, Oregon. Eric Garrity and Britta Olson have been a part of the Bend Equity Project, since November 2020.
The guests speak about how the Bend Equity Project focuses on the needs and concerns of unhoused citizens, and aims to make systemic improvements in housing in Central Oregon.
Garrity and Olson also mention concerns over a a report commissioned by a Deschutes County Sheriff and talk to us about measure 110.
