Oregon Self-Advocacy Coalition (OSAC) held their Inclusive Leadership Summit on September 19, 2023 in Salem, Oregon to bring together Oregon's Self-Advocates, family members, professionals and state leaders to learn, celebrate and collaborate. John Griffiths interviewed Kelly McCauley who gave a presentation about elevating the voices of self-advocates. John also interviewed two participants: Eric Thompson and Devin Ackley. They are both in leadership positions in their area of Oregon for self-advocates. During the summit, groups were encouraged to develop lists of recommendations on a variety of topics affecting people in the Intellectual/Developmental Disability community. Some of these recommendations were read during this program so listeners could hear a bit about what people were discussing during this summit.
