I guess you could think this program is about politics. But really, it’s about the music related to politics. There are two sets of music from Canadians in the 2nd half of the show: music and musicians may be the best Canadian imports into this country. One of the songs is "Hope for One and All" from Cape Breton Islander Lucy MacNeil, recorded last year.
Earlier in the show, there’s some folk music about the Watergate Scandal that began in 1973 just after Richard Nixon’s re-election and ended when President Nixon resigned in 1974. His main concerns for the country at that time? Peace and an economy without inflation.
