Todays show features the second half of a conversation with Dr. Robert Michael Pyle.
Bob Pyle is a pioneer and legend in invertebrate conservation research and advocacy, as well as an accomplished author and poet. In 1971, he founded the Xerces Society, which has grown into the most influential invertebrate conservation organization in the world. He is also the author of many books of prose and poetry, and a great storyteller.
This episode was researched and co-hosted by Coast Range Radio volunteer, Griffin Reim. Huge shout out to Griffin for helping to produce this interview.
Quick note before we start - I am taking some time off, and this will be my last new episode for a month or two. However, this is going to be a critical year for environmental and climate justice work in the pacific northwest, and we are going to be going deep on all the most important policies and campaigns affecting our communities and ecosystems!
