Unionized faculty and staff at Portland Community College are on strike, nearing their second week. It's the first time in Oregon's history that a community college staff has gone on strike. KBOO Reporter Masato visited the strike line on Monday, and talked to workers about their experience.
Then, at the final meeting of the Portland City Council Community and Public Safety Committee (in its current iteration), on Tuesday, March 17th, the councilors heard an ordinance to require law enforcement to be clearly identified while on duty, and to prevent them from wearing face coverings. We bring you an excerpt of that meeting.
