Patricia Daniels Reclaims Her Home from the Banksters
Patricia Daniels, director of Constructing Hope, reclaimed her foreclosed home from the banksters on Saturday. With the assistance of 30 neighbors, We Are Oregon and Occupy Northeast, the Black Working Group, Ms. Daniels moved back into the house her mother had bought forty years ago. The victim of a predatory loan and fraudulent foreclosure, Patricia Daniels was inspired to re-occupy her vacant house after seeing several other families in the neighborhood refuse to move. KBOO reporter Jamie Partridge recorded a rally outside and several conversations with Ms. Daniels inside the home.
