Last May, over two-dozen Oregon-based community groups began working to keep the Oregon National Guard from being deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan by seeking resolutions and legislation that the state can use to challenge federalization of the Guard. Join Jo Ann and Dave as they talk with Dan Handelman of Peace and Justice Works and other peace activists about this new phase of the Campaign to Bring the Troops Home. Dave and Jo Ann will also be talking with BoardArts Theatre founder Melinda Pittman about her organization's work with Rose City Presbyterian Church to help children explore ideas surrounding the nature and concept of peace at their Summer Theatre Arts Camp this August.
