Southeast & Central African Acoustic of the 1950's

Today's show will feature acoustic guitar music from the central and southeast regions of Africa. From intricate finger-pickers harmonizing over Fanta bottle percussion, to solitary troubadors praising local beauties, a beautiful spectrum of acoustic guitar and voice will be broadcast for your ears. Recorded throughout the 1950s and early 1960s, we will feature a variety of artists and languages from Congo, Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Malawi. Hosted by Golden Wilson.
