Host Jo Ann Hardesty speaks with author, columnist, and activist Norman Solomon, who is in Portland for Underground USA, a day long symposium with the writers and artists who came out of Portland’s underground press, presented by Oregon Cartoon Institute on Saturday, October 15th.

Norman Solomon’s career in political journalism includes the founding of the Institute for Public Accuracy, and authorship of many books, including War Made Easy: How Presidents and Pundits Keep Spinning Us to Death, Target Iraq: What The News Media Didn’t Tell You (with Reese Erlich) and The Trouble With Dilbert: How Corporate Culture Gets The Last Laugh.

Norman Solomon wrote for the Portland Scribe and was a volunteer at KBOO Radio.
