COVERS and BLANKETS is Something like a talent show and a blanket drive all rolled up into WON. You are welcome to perform a Cover song, spectate or volunteer, just check us out on FaceBook... search COVERS and BLANKETS #14.

On January 28, 2017 at Manifestation PDX located at 202o SE Bush St.Portland Oregon, we will gladly be accepting your donations of gently used Blankets, clothing, hats, scarves, gloves, sleeping bags, rain gear and baby stuff a well as NEW toiletries to be donated to the Janus Youth Programs, serving Oregon and SW Washington with a homeless shelter and outreach program for at risk youth, (think teenage moms and homeless kids)

The doors will open at 7pm and its is an all ages show. We encourage kids and family groups to get up on stage and participate up until 9pm after that... its gonna be a grown ups party, so parental discretion is advised. Come early if you have kids and stay late if you kids are cool like that.

Bring your Guitar or your fiddle or your flute, or your spoons, or your just you Voice and perform a Cover tune... Mic's and di's for amplification will be provided. This year covers &Blankets will be a B.Y.O.B. event... so if you want to drink Alcohol.... Bring it. Water and soft drinks will be made available for your health and enjoyment.

*There will be a $10 cover with a donation for JYP... and as always, kids are free. This will be our thirteenth year putting on Covers & Blankets and we are so very pleased to accept the Generous participation from Our friends at Manifestation PDX once again this year.

Now, more than ever, we are reminded of how important a strong local community can be in helping us solve problems. When we unite around common values and share our skills and knowledge, everybody wins. This is why we created HelpWith; to help you explore the untapped talents of your community, connect, and get more done.

We have connected designers with coders, in order to help creatives break through to development. We have helped parents find peer-reviewed guitar teachers for their children. We have even helped kombucha brewers spread their craft to those looking to learn in Portland. Our members have listed over 1,000 skills.

HelpWith helps you monetize the skills you have and empower people in your community, helping your neighbors and local small businesses. We have removed a lot of the complexity involved in freelancing and selling your knowledge, to create an efficient and open community marketplace. Everyone has knowledge to offer, and we want to help you spread it.

As a student, use HelpWith to find someone who can help you advance your career, fix something around the house, or start a new project. As a teacher, list your skills and rates, and search through help requests in order to find community members who you can help.

We look forward to you joining our learning community at HelpWith.co
