Celebrations of Mardi Gras and Carnival Season
Hi y'all, Phil G here. This Friday, Feb 10, I will be hosting The Songcircle and will be joined by Captain Steve Kerin and Queen Kathy Ware of the Mysti Krewe of Nimbus- Portland's original, authentic, Lousiana-style Mardi Gras Krewe and Social Pleasure Club.
Captain Steve, Queen Kathy, and I will be talking about Mardi Gras traditions, including Music, Parades, the upcoming Mysti Krewe Ball, foods, and other Lagniappe.
We'll even talk about what Lagniappe means :)
We'll be playing some Mardi Gras music and also helping take part in KBOO's winter membership drive! Tune in and tell you friends.
