Filmmaking for female-identified, non-binary, and trans youth and adults
First we talk to independent media makers and educators Devin Febbroriello of XRAY TV and Film Collective and Serpent Power Productions and Kat Meow Garcia of Open Signal: Portland Community Media Center. You'll find out about XRAY's Reel Voices summer filmmaking camp for young women and non-binary youth (14-18 years old), why they started the program, and the amazing original creations they'll be working on.
Then you'll hear from Kai Tillman of StoryTank Media about working in the film industry as a trans person and the technical, personalized filmmaking workshops he's piloting for women and trans people, from beginners to advanced.
