Portland History on Film

The Vanport Mosaic Festival is honoring the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the City of Vanport with historic exhibits, theater, and documentaries.  Jenn Chavez talks with Laura Lo Forti about the film project Lost City, Living Memories: Vanport Through the Voices of Its Residents.

Then, S.W. Conser welcomes Greg Hamilton, who'll be bringing rare footage of the century-old Portland Rose Festival to the local movie screen, including A Parade of Champions and the award-winning From One Rose.

And we're also joined by audiovisual artist Carl Diehl, who is gearing up to introduce a retrospective of his works Electronic Elsewhere at the Northwest Film Center.
