Host Celeste Carey spoke with Fouad Pervez about Afghanistan and Pakistan. Fouad Pervez is a writer, actor, and policy analyst. The Karachi native grew up in New Jersey, and lives and works in Washington, DC. He has organized on a variety of political issues. He currently works as a senior researcher at George Washington University. He is also a contributor to Foreign Policy in Focus, a think tank and online journal comprised of over 600 scholars and activists that analyzes U.S. foreign policy and international affairs. Additionally, Fouad is a member of Transcend International, a global group of over 300 scholars and practitioners working on issues of peace and development.
