Cary Watters and Amory Zschach return to host Voices From the Edge and welcome two community leaders to continue the discussion on Native American Heritage Month.
Jessica Rojas is a 3rd generation Oregonian, raised in NE Portland. She provides technical assistance, advocacy support, and training for community and environmental groups in N/NE, including neighborhood associations. Prior to this position, she worked on the development of watershed restoration projects and best equity practices in granting. She also serves on the board for the NW Center for Alternatives to Pesticides.
Amber Faist has a bachelor’s degree in Business Entrepreneurship and has demonstrated experience working within Tribal administrative offices and with Tribal youth ages 8-18. Amber is a 2017 graduate from the Oregon LEAD cohort for leadership development from Native American Youth & Family Services (NAYA). She is a Coquille Tribal member and serves Oregon’s Native entrepreneurial network at the Oregon Native American Chamber.
