Uhuru Sasa, which means ‘Freedom Now’ in Swahili, is a Club by and for prisoners and offers programs and holds annual events such as their Poetry Share, MLK, Jr. Day, Kwanzaa celebration. The public is welcome to attend these events and can reach the Club through their OSP Staff Advisor at (503) 378-2289.
