No Impact Man; Interview with Colin Beavan

Host, Linda Olson-Osterlund interviews Colin Beavan, author of No Impact Man: The Adventures of A Guilty Liberal who Attempts to Save The Planet and the Discoveries He Makes About Himself and Our Way of Life in the Process. He and his wife and little girl lived for a year with the power turned off, using no motorized transportation, eating only food produced within 250 miles and trying to produce no trash, while living in a 9th floor apartment in New York City.
