To steel or not to steel? That is the question I will try to answer this Saturday as we explore the pedal and non-pedal steel guitars and their roles in Western Swing and Country music and related genres over the decades. We'll hear examples from revered players such as Speedy West, Buddy Emmons, Ralph Mooney, Leon McAuliffe, Don Helms and many more.
