There are so many obstacles to providing services to the homeless. They are often hard to contact because they do not have an address or a phone and they often don't have the documentation that we take for granted such as a driver’s license or a birth certificate. Couple that with the fact that many of the people who are homeless have mental and/or physical health issues due to a variety of reasons, and I think we all can agree that helping homeless folks is a daunting task.  In this episode, Aleita, the president of the CDDC talks about  how the CDDC works to overcome these and other challenges to helping local folks who are homeless..
