Bill Resnick interviews Brian Tokar activist, author, and lecturer in Environmental Studies at the University of Vermont, and an active board member of 350 Vermont and the Institute for Social Ecology. His books include the The Green Alternative, Earth for Sale, Toward Climate Justice, and with Fred Magdoff, Agriculture and Food in Crisis. He is now working on Climate Justice and Community Renewal: Campaigns and Strategies from the Frontlines. Brian Tokar was a representative of the Institute for Social Ecology in the North American Congress that founded the North American organization, Symbiosis, "a confederation of community organizations seeking to build a democratic and ecological society from the ground up."
