Sarah Iannarone is a candidate running for Portland Mayor in the 2020 election.
Iannarone worked her way from jobs in kitchens to co-found a small business in SE Portland, and to become a Portland-educated urban climate policy expert. She proudly stood up to Trump with the Wall of Moms, and is funded through small donations from the people of Portland.
Iannarone has vowed to discontinue sweeps of houseless folks, to extend the moratorium on evictions during the pandemic, and to hand the Portland Police Bureau over to Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty on Day 1.
She talked with KBOO's Nat Moon about her plans for the city of Portland.
