Are you thinking green this Spring?

 

The Better Living Show is a three-day festival that provides an entertaining setting for exploring sustainable choices. The Northwest’s largest sustainable living show takes place this weekend at the Portland Expo Center, and

Alongside this show at the Expo Center, Portland is celebrating the 2nd Annual International SWAN Day, which stands for “Support Women Artists Now”. SWAN Day is an international event, celebrated at locations around the world. Local festivities include a two-day showcase featuring more than 30 female performance and visual artists, as well as community groups that support women in the arts. This free event takes place on Saturday and Sunday afternoon and is open to the public of all ages.

On Saturday, the American Red Cross Portland Blood Donor Center invites you to celebrate Red Cross Month at an open house.

The celebration includes food, prizes, and fun activities for the kids, while supplies last…This is also an opportunity to learn about the Red Cross training and life saving skills. To schedule an appointment at this special drive, please call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE or visit nwblood.redcross.org.
