Peter Banes, Editor & Publisher of Permaculture Activist talks about edges, crossroads and the VBC.

In the current pulse-pounding media exhilaration emanating from the Gulf of Mexico and the Middle East, in Portland activists are quietly creating a revolution.  The 2010 Village Building Convergence is underway spreading the opportunities to explore Deep Structure in all its glorious dimensions;  social cultural, environmental.  Peter Bane, Editor and Publisher of Permaculture Activist joins us to talk about cities as crucibles, alembics in which the dross of hundreds of years of unrestrained growth in converted into 'gold'.  The sheer volume of 'Edge' is what makes it happen.  We have an infinite fractal shore from which to launch our dreams.

On the subject of Sea:  Some of the aid workers and activists arrested from Freedom Flotilla have been released from Israeli detention and are beginning to tell their stories of the botched Israeli raid that killed between nine and nineteen activists and injured nearly sixty more. The exact number of casualties remains unclear because of Israel's effort to control the flow of information surrounding the attack.kers whose ships were attacked from the air and sea by Israeli forces.  Up until now, the Israeli PR machine has been busy fabricating lies and feeding them to a greedy media.  The game has changed.  Now the people who were targeted, who actually witnessed the attack are speaking out.
