Protect People Not Profits

Oregon Nurses Association members Beth Funsch and Gabriel Wihtol, nurses at Providence Portland Medical Center discuss their struggle with the largest healthcare system in Oregon.  Personal Protective Equipment, Covid-19 testing, staffing and paid leave are all lacking at the eight hospitals and dozens of clinics in the Providence Oregon system  With $12 billion in reserves, this huge corporation, one of  the largest employers in the northwest, claims they can't afford to keep their workers safe.  ONA is waging an escalating pressure campaign, called Protect People Not Profits and will mobilize a "Care-a-Van" and a Workers Rights Board in the coming month.  Stay tuned at the Oregon Nurses Association facebook page.
