On this episode of the Gap, Tammy and Althea speak with Taylor Loewen, the general manager of the membership reusing and recycling service Ridwell. We learn about where the Portland Metro's curbside services fall short and how their members see their waste items and excess get reused. They fill in the gaps in existing services and have diverted thousands of pounds of waste from the landfill in Portland alone.

Then, we ask our listeners (ahead of Daylight Savings Time) what they like about where they live, whether that's their neighbors, their neighborhood or the Pacific Northwest in general. Importantly, we hear from Sue who is saving salamanders! Sue the Salamander Savior!
