This week on Century of Lies: Drug Policy, Health, and Human Rights. Host Doug McVay is joined in conversation by Professor Jagpreet Chhatwal, PhD, Director of the MGH Institute for Technology Assessment and an associate professor at Harvard Medical School, and one of the co-authors of an article entitled “Estimated Reductions in Opioid Overdose Deaths With Sustainment of Public Health Interventions in 4 US States” that was published June 9 in the journal JAMA Network Open. Plus we hear from Jess Morales from the Latin American Network of People who Use Drugs (LANPUD), who recently spoke on a United Nations panel entitled “At the intersection of drug policy, health and human rights.”
