A twentieth-anniversary edition of Freedom Dreams: The Black Radical Imagination, by the UCLA-based historian Robin D. G. Kelley, was released this year 2023. Robin Kelley spoke about his book with CS Soong on ATG in 2003 shortly after Freedom Dreams was published. Kelley later joined the program in 2011 to talk about Aimé Césaire, one of the thinkers featured in Freedom Dreams. A segment of that conversation closes out todays rebroadcast.
