Fortunato returns with lots of music to help you clean up after our recent winter storm. Featured in the second hour will be a repeat presentation of Katherine Dunn reading a short story of local politics titled Tight Shoes by Daymon Runyon. Set in the years of the Great Depression, an unusualy series of events are set off when a "horse player" is sold a pair of shoes that are too tight. Musical performers will include Art Blakey, McCoy Tyner, Nichole Glover, Wynton Marsalis, Horace Silver, John Coltrane, Nicholas Payton, and others.
