While Oregonians were fighting to stop the behemoth Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline and Jordan Cove LNG Terminal in Southern Oregon, communities in Virginia were facing a similar struggle to stop an even larger and longer pipeline that would have crossed the Blue Ridge Mountains, threatening watersheds and streams and countless communities along its 600 mile route. But as we have seen across the country, proposed pipelines turn out to be one of the best organizing tools to bring diverse communities together.
On this episode of Locus Focus we talk about the struggle to stop the Atlantic Coast Pipeline with Jonathan Mingle, author of Gaslight: The Atlantic Coast Pipeline and the Fight for America's Energy Future.
