As we transition to a truly renewable world two of the things we need less of are more and larger server farms and nuclear power reactors to feed them electricity. Yet that is the plan being hatched by Microsoft, Amazon and other tech giants. Amazon is eyeing Eastern Oregon as the home for giant server farms to expand their AI capabilities and they want to provide these facilities with electricity generated by brand new nuclear reactors to be built on the Hanford Nuclear Reservation in Eastern Washington.
