Palestine has long been one of the great silences in U.S. classrooms. Teaching Palestine breaks that silence, offering educators tools to uncover the history and current context of Palestine-Israel in the classroom. The collection features poetry, personal narratives, interviews, role plays, and critical reading and writing activities that center Palestinian lives, uplift struggles for justice, and invite students to think critically about racism, inequality, and solidarity.
