New evening schedule
KBOO is making changes to our evening lineup, starting November 3rd. We are adding new rock, hip hop, and world music shows, opening time for guest programmers, and adding more public affairs in the evening from an African American perspective. Several shows are going off the air, and others are moving to a new day and time. We're still accepting new program proposals and those new to KBOO can download the program proposal form here. Check out our new Music Page highlighting the changes and read The Skanner's new article.
We want to thank all the programmers who have put in so much hard work over the last six months to make this happen, and all of you who took the time to fill out our KBOO program surveys, which gave us the feedback we needed to make these changes.
Monday Experimental & Spoken Arts: A Different Nature, Un-Herd, The Talking Earth, Ubu Hour, Sudden Radio Project, Gremlin Time, ZBS Theater
Wednesday Rock, Indie, & Punk: Drinking from Puddles and Life During Wartime
Thursday Soul & Urban Music: guess who's coming to radio??!! and CrossFade
Friday Turntablists: One Two, One Two

gone but not forgotton
Chris; When did Ron Scott's Back to Islands get dropped? I know its been a while, but I never read any mention
of the change. Any way to contact Ron? Also, how is Don Manning doing health wise? Lastly, please don't drop Uncle Mort
or Dale Farr shows(!)
Regards,
Tim Soucy
good
Very good article thank you...
demise of Rock-Annonys.
I know you have your reasons for the sudden drop of RA Mon. program. I just want to say Uncle Mort deserved a better send off for decades of faithful service than to have NO mention of his leaving;and NO public/on air expression of thanks for so many years of very unique programming. Yes, all things must change, but this wasn't handled very well.
