The Film Show for April 2014
This month, The Film Show welcomes Janet Wasko of the the What is Documentary? Conference, organized by the School of Journalism and Communications at the University of Oregon's Portland campus.
Then, groundbreaking indie filmmaker Penny Allen makes a return appearance to KBOO in advance of a weekend-long retrospective of her work at the Hollywood Theatre.
And finally, Carolee Harrison and Heather Petrocelli join us from Special Collections at the Portland State University Library. They've been digitizing documentary films and recordings made by students of the Center for the Moving Image — a PSU film program from the 1970's — and making the archives available online.
