Interviews with Oyster day organizers, Lola Milholland and David Milholland, and author of Mastering Stocks and Broths, Rachael Mamane
On this episode, I'll be talking with Rachael Mamane, the author of Mastering Broths and Stocks.
Lola and David Milholland have an annual tradition around one of Oregon's culinary treasures - the oyster. They recently organized Oyster Day to both celebrate the food as well as historical Oregon figures.
I'll also have a conversation with Nikki Silvestri from the Food Show archives. Nikki is a community organizer working to strengthen equity in food systems.
It's amazing what a few days of sun can do for the garden. The growing season is beginning to ramp up and we'll be talking with our monthly garden expert, Marisha Auerbach, about handling that growing list of garden tasks.
